2 peas in a pod by elderarc 2 peas in a pod by elderarc
This was a custom order request and is entirely hammer formed using a depression in my stump, dapping punches and a forming stake. I had a lot of fun learning to close a spiculum and I think I did a good job on a first attempt. :) The wire that holds the Indian Agate beads is soldered into the bottom of the pod before I hammered it closed. It was tricky to not collapse the tube in the closing but I managed it! My friend loved the results. Red brass in 24 gauge sheet, about 1 inch long with 6mm Indian Agate beads.

LOL I'm not a pea pod fan but it was a fun item to make! I got to practice some skills I hadn't yet tried so all in all it worked out well. Thank you! And great to hear from you again! I'm afraid I've been neglecting DA lately but I'm happy to see you here!
